Mash Up Body    Fringe Arts/Philadelphia

Equal Parts Runway Stage show and club party Mash Up Body explores the politics of aesthetics and the role of a delegated performer, Mash Up Body is comprised of two parts: First Watson-Wallace made a dance. Second, she asked the cast to remix and destroy the systems of the original dance, on the spot, in front of the audience.

Mash Up Body is a meditation on agency, radical presence, and embedded patriarchy in the art world.

In this scenario I provide a live score.
